Today's been a pretty good day. The kids went and spent the day at their dad's house. I took my mom out to lunch. We ate all-you-can-eat sushi. She had never had "real" sushi before, so it was a lot of fun. We stuffed ourselves and laughed as we both tried to manage chopsticks and giant-sized pieces of sushi that will not fit in our mouths in one bite... I guess I need to be a big-mouth like Ken to be able to do that... lol.
We spent some time wandering around DI. I found some vintage cushion thingys to go on my kitchen chairs and a couple of pretty pink rose topiaries. After I dropped her off I stopped by Kohls to see what kind of clearances they had. I'm bored of my jewelry and found lots of cute jewelry for super cheap along with a really adorable dress. I had a gift card I got from my mom for my b-day, so it was extra fun.
I had a job interview yesterday. I think it went pretty well... it's a job I think I'll love. Not sure if I'll quit my other one or work two for the summer to get caught up on things. Hopefully I get it. It's a job I'm pretty qualified for, so I'm crossing my fingers and should hear back on Monday or Tuesday.

You look great! How is it that you still look just the same as when we were little and playing dress up and grandma's? And I miss DI, I already told darren when we go home for christmas I am going a few times :) And I see that I was tagged, I will do it maybe next week after the weekend. Tell your mama hi for me!
