so sad

We had an Activity Days Mother-Daughter party tonight. It was really fun for the girls. I had to ditch out early to go to the airport, so they caught a ride home with one of their leaders. We've been in this ward for about 6 months, and still haven't made any good friends. Ken had to go home tonight... so sad. We don't know when the next visit will be. Hopefully next month, but it could be June. I miss him already.

Thanks Sabina!

My dear friend Sabina inspired me to start blogging. I'm not surprised she blogs, she journals more than anyone I know. She's always been a great example to me and even living far away, I can learn much from her.

Yesterday was my 29th birthday. It wasn't anything fantastic or exciting, just another day. It didn't really seem like a birthday... as Ken put it, there was no fan-fare.

Nina performed in the HOPE OF AMERICA program last night. She sang with 7000 children from elementary schools in Utah County. Together they formed a huge American flag. It was a really good patriotic performance. What a great experience for her to be a part of! Traffic was crazy, of course, leaving the Marriott Center, but it was a fun night.
