Ummm

I'm a total slacker for not posting my Christmas pics or Emma's birthday pics on here yet, but it's so overwhelming since there's a ton of them... I promise I'll do it soon! I did post some Christmas pics on The American Homemaker so I don't feel too bad.

But today I'd like to introduce you to Rachel Dunham:

And her brother James Dunham... whose nickname is Jake Dunham:

Don't ask.

Christmas Eve

Here are some of our Christmas eve pics... I'll share Christmas day soon :)

Magic reindeer oats

What's up with today's kids? We never got to track Santa online :)

Brrrrr... the things we do to attract Santa's reindeer... LOL

We each opened a gift (we drew names and opened those ones).

Alyssa is wild because she got a crazy rat that squeals and shakes... ?

These two goofy kids had the best reaction to their Christmas eve gifts. Caleb is going ga-ga for Pokemon cards and Emma is cuckoo for sheep.

New jammies!!! Don't mind Alyssa. She's her normal "special" self... LOL

Alyssa was really upset because I didn't get the snowman stocking this year. I didn't even know that it was the stocking I usually use. She cried for me. It was so sad. She doesn't do well with change and I think it was overwhelming for her to have Christmas so different this year. She's so caring, of course if she's gonna cry it's gonna be for someone other than herself. She's usually so easy-going, I wanted to cry too. So we cuddled for a bit.

Someone call the fashion police! Quick!

Happy Birthday to Gabey!

Crazy monkey kids!

Sheesh... how many computers do we need?

New Boots :)

My kids rarely get snow boots. It just doesn't snow that much where I feel like the cost is justified, but since they walk home from school, I thought it's really necessary this year. My Grandma Bradford sent us Christmas money and so.... ta da.... new boots. Aren't they great? The kids totally think so :)

Revenge of the Tumbleweeds!

I'm not sure if you can really tell what this picture is. Let me explain... I was trying to go outside to warm up my car other day and I couldn't get out. This massive tumbleweed wedged itself in between the screen door and the porch post. I had to shove it as hard as I could and squeeze through. I tried to pull it out of the way from the other side and the stupid thing wouldn't budge. It was one tough tumbleweed... but I'm tougher. I finally got it and threw it on the side of my house. Hopefully it won't be back. I'm pretty sure it's the same one that's been in front of my door three times now. He really wants to come in :(

Specifically and Apparently

are Alyssa's two new favorite words. She's such a crazy girl. "Apparently I have to sit in the middle." "Apparently Caleb didn't put his coat on." "What does that mean, specifically?"

She's such a crazy girl.

Nina's Orchestra Concert

Nina had her first orchestra concert on Thursday. She really loves playing the violin. I thought for sure she'd want to be in choir this year because she's always loved to sing, but I'm glad she didn't. A musical instrument is a great skill to have.

It was really funny. This big green garland that was hanging above the opening fell down in the middle of Silent Night and landed on the back row where Nina was sitting. Of course her and her friends got all giggly. And then one of the boys on their row fell off the stage and they really couldn't stop laughing.

After getting several pics where Caleb obnoxiously kept pretending to sleep, I finally threatened him and he kept his eyes open.

And of course by then the girls had lost interest... LOL Kids are punks!

Christmas Parade

According to my calculations.....

This is what an elf face looks like according to Alyssa.

The happy little elf family... Caleb was home sick :(

Nina standing in the middle of the road.

Ummm... Alyssa.... no other explanation needed...LOL
