Family Home Evening

We've been slackers at FHE lately, but tonight we had an actual official family home evening :) Nina gave a great lesson on repentance, we had super yummy breakfast rolls and we were supposed to play the game Sorry! but we couldn't find the pieces, just the game board... LOL So we played Skipbo instead.

Stupid House

Hhhmmmm.... I wonder why I'm so dependent on these little pink allergy pills... and why I feel like crap.... and why I don't sleep restfully

Could it be the freakin' black mold under all of the carpet in the room just off my bedroom!!! I'm allergic to mold and we all know it's not good for anyone. I cut this piece of carpet out, but I'm gonna rip all the rest out by myself if my landlord doesn't do something soon. I told him about the leak and the wet carpet back in November and still nothing!

Wicked

Wicked was amazing!!! We had great seats and loved every minute of it. We ate delicious Italian food for dinner at a nice restaurant, enjoyed the show and had ice cream cookie sandwiches afterward. It was a fabulous date!

It's tonight!!!

Ken and I are going to see Wicked tonight in Salt Lake! I'm so excited :) I've never seen it PLUS it's been two years since I've been to a Broadway-style play, so I'm double excited! We're going out to a nice Italian dinner first and then up to the Capitol Theater! Hopefully the snow stops before tonight. I mean seriously... am I mistaken and it really isn't April?

And... I added myself as a new administrator on this blog... LOL So I should be posting a whole lot more now that I don't have to log in and out and blah blah every time I want to post here. Yes I'm really busy and time is precious :)

Max

This is the newest member of our family. His name is Max. He's a lhasa apso/cairn terrier mix. He's really well-behaved and is very happy to be with us. We got him at the animal shelter and he has a sad cough, but he's on medicine, so hopefully it clears up soon. He'll be going home with Ken when he leaves in a week and a half and I think he'll really miss me and the kids. I'm so not a dog fan, but he's not bad since he doesn't shed, jump on me or lick me :)

He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES car rides!
