Girls Night Out

As part of my New Year's resolution to make closer friends I started a monthly girls night out for girls that I think would like to make closer friends too. We went to Flour Girls & Dough Boys for dessert and to get to know each other better. It was a lot of fun to get out of the house with no kids and just hang out with the girls. None of us really knew each other well, other than me and Ashlee who work together every day. I can't wait for next month :)

Snowy Pictures

I love taking pictures... especially of the beautiful snow and today was one of those days. The quiet after the storm :)

New Year's Eve

I took a ton of pics last night. We spent New Year's Eve at my mom's house. The kids are all getting so old. It's crazy. My sisters and Tony were there, but Brian had to go back to Mississippi. Banging pans at midnight has been a New Year's Eve tradition at our house since our kids were teeny tiny. They look forward to it each year.

Emma's Birthday

Emma's birthday was a couple of days after they left for Nevada, but we celebrated on the 26th. She is now eight years old :)

And here are some odd-ball members of the family.

Christmas :)

Poor Caleb got beat up by everyone because he wouldn't wake up. They all had to sit on their beds for 10 long minutes because of it... and Tanner snuck out of bed early and opened all his presents. He hid the paper so we wouldn't know. Right... like we wouldn't know. Sooo.... the morning started out with us wanting to beat children... LOL

The girls got Bratz dolls from Grandma. They also got new clothes from Santa.

Yeah... so here I am. No makeup and lots of cleavage. Well we can't all be gorgeous on Christmas morning like some people... you know who you are... LOL

Stuffed animals and rats were on the top of Alyssa's Christmas list.

Here are the boys playin' and workin'

Tanner is a dork...

and speaking of dorks...

Christmas brunch was super yummy :)

Christmas was really hectic but a lot of fun. Next year we have NO children for Christmas. Vacation here we come!!!
